Johnny Mendoza has been an ITDG team member since 2000 — making him one of the longest-tenured members of the organization and a living repository of institutional knowledge spanning over two decades of projects. As head of ITDG's building engineering department, Johnny brings extensive expertise in construction and building mechanical systems that bridges the gap between what gets designed on paper and what actually performs in the field.

His deep understanding of how HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems interact within a building allows him to identify potential issues before they become problems — saving clients time and money during both construction and long-term operation. With 25 years at ITDG, Johnny has seen the company evolve from its early days into a fully vertically integrated operation, and his hands-on knowledge of how buildings actually function is an invaluable resource for the entire team.
