With over four decades in the construction industry, David Williamson is the driving force behind one of Arizona's most innovative general contracting operations. His career began in 1979 when he founded Williamson Electric — a small electrical contracting firm in Tucson that he grew from the ground up into one of the state's largest electrical contractors, employing over 400 professionals across Arizona.

That journey gave David an unmatched understanding of what actually happens on a jobsite — the coordination failures, the stacked subcontractor markups, and the finger-pointing that plagues traditional construction. Rather than accept the status quo, he built the solution himself.

David founded ITDG with a radical strategy that no other Arizona general contractor has replicated: true vertical integration. By bringing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, glazing, civil, concrete, and painting under one roof with W-2 employees — not subcontractors — he eliminated the coordination gaps and margin stacking that drive up costs and blow schedules.

David takes a hands-on approach to every project, working directly with clients to help them understand the value of MEP systems and how they integrate into their specific needs.
